The light channel tracks are made from aluminum. This has been a good surface for the lights to stick too. The channels are not so easy to install on a finished wall, but if you are remodeling, this is a better time to install these pieces. You could also use these lights on other applications other than ceilings or walls. The lens covers snap in place after you have installed the lights in the channel. Lights have a unique look to them.
So I just started working with these and they are super easy to do and work with. They cut easily and easy to plaster in and feather out. The lights go in the channel easy enough. I am still working on a finished product but when I am done I will do before and after pictures and upload them. Highly recommended for home improvement project
